Nokia is suing Amazon and HP in India and other countries, here's why

The Finnish company alleges that Amazon has used its video-related technologies without authorization in its streaming services and devices. Nokia's chief licensing officer, Arvin Patel, stated that litigation was not their first choice, but sometimes it is necessary to respond to companies that do not adhere to patent licensing agreements. Nokia is seeking compensation for the use of its inventions and hopes to reinvest the royalties in the development of next-generation multimedia technology.
