Show HN: Rockit – Web development e-learning using gamification and storytelling Hey HN, I'm building Rockit, an online web development learning app that uses gamification and storytelling. The first version is set in a simulated school environment, where you need to complete courses, create a fully fledged blog post, help classmates with their practical and theoretical questions, keep track of notes, etc. This project is part of a long journey, losing my passion for development after working for years in the typical corporate world and trying to regain some of the spark I felt when I started learning web development at a young age. Some of the app highlights: - Real gamification elements: earning points, upgrading your IDE from a text document to VSCode, etc. - Learn in different ways, like theoretical questions, practical exercises and also helping classmates with theirs, where you can solve previously completed exercises from a fresh angle. - After each chapter, you'll need to complete a part of a bigger project which by the end you'll fully complete.
